Keep looking elsewhere if I were you. We had a consult, overcrowding of teethe. They would pull out adult teeth to make their work easier and faster while charging more than other places. However, if you like being treated as a profit center instead of getting the comprehensive treatment you actually need and deserve, then by all means….found a place elsewhere that did not pull out adult teeth and lined up teeth with a great bracing system. At much less cost.
Dr. Cohen and his team are a one of a kind! They truly care about their patients experience and go above and beyond to support them! I had a fairly complex case and they would always keep in touch with the other doctors on my medical team, and supported me when I ran into an issue overseas with my invisalign! Highly recommend this team as they are empathetic to their patients and do their best to improve your quality of life!
The team at Surrideo Orthodontics have been absolutely wonderful throughout my treatment and offered ample support after the end of my treatment. They were patient, consistent and supportive with my care as I managed through years of orthodontics, jaw surgery, more orthodontics etc. For the majority of my treatment I had Spark aligners with attachments, I am very happy with this option as they were very easy to take care of, maintain good dental hygiene and did not impede on my lifestyle. I am extremely happy and impressed with how my function and smile has improved! I had many consultations. with other Dentists, Orthodontists and Surgeons prior to meeting Dr. Cohen. It was obvious from day one that the level of care is a cut above, my outcome speaks for itself. They work as a TEAM to provide a well rounded and tailored plan. I cannot thank them enough! If you’re thinking about Ortho treatment, call them!
It was exciting to see things going back to normal at Surrideo! The lobby had more chairs and my daughter was excited to see that the game system was up and running again. Unfortunately for her, we had a very little time to wait. The dental assistant was calm, and efficient as usual. Dr Cohen presented with his usual candour and humour. A quick and pleasant check in for my daughter’s braces. Looks like the tooth fairy will be visiting tonight too!
So glad I chose to go with Surrideo Orthodontics for my braces. I am so happy with my results and the staff there are amazing along with Dr Cohen. They have an awesome point reward system as well! I got a Sephora gift card just for going to my appointments. Couldn’t recommend this place more.
Dr. Cohen and his team are among the best! My daughter started her orthodontic treatment in another province and they took over her treatment and made it seamless. All staff are courteous and responsive, being quick to deal with any issues that arose. My daughter got her braces off today and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results!
Excellent service and skill.
My only complaint is the music in the waiting area. It’s monotonous when trying to read or listen to your own material while waiting. Something quiet and instrumental would be less invasive.
The staff were friendly, however, if I could go back, I would have probably gone elsewhere. I did not like dealing with two different dentists. I had to deal with insurance issues right away too since I was given the wrong information, one of my teeth came loose from the braces and I was told it was normal. My original dentist was not available that day, so the new one re-glued the tooth. That tooth does not fully align with the others. Honestly, its caused ma a lot of stress and anxiety and I did lose a lot of sleep over everything (insurance, appointments....had to take lots of time off, front teeth not as good as they could have been). If I could go back, I would have have saved my money and time and left my teeth as they were. Like I said, the staff were nice, but they place felt like an assembly line.
